What is Content Marketing?
“Content marketing” is one of those terms that we hear often but is often misunderstood. It’s easy to think of it as relating to the written word only, but that would only be a fraction of the entire scope of the term.
In fact content can relate to any created piece of content that will be consumed by readers, visitors, viewers, listeners, and the “marketing” side of the equation relates to how this content is distributed, dispersed, and pushed via a series of marketing/communications channels.

Content marketing is a marketing technique of creating and distributing valuable, relevant and consistent content to attract and acquire a clearly defined audience – with the objective of driving profitable customer action.
Creation and distribution needs to be at the heart of what our overall content strategy should be. It should be valuable and relevant to our target audience, and have a purpose for its existence.
